NEWS: 22y/o Boy Brutally Murdered by Harbin Police Over a Parking Lot

The incident happened on the evening (at around 10pm) of 11th October 2008 at around 10pm, where 6 Harbin City police officers and 4 youths were fighting over a parking lot. One of the youths named Lin Song Ling (林松岭) aged 22, a freshly graduate from university were brutally beaten up by the 6 police officers and was found dead later on. All 6 police officers denied the charges. The incident happened in front of a famouse bac named BOX in Harbin. It was reported that the incident happened right before both parties went into the bar. This news startled many people and it is being debated over the TV and blogs and websites. Some supported the police by accussing the youth as gengster and some are against the police by saying they have no right at all to end one's life.

James was the Dean of Perwira Education Group from 1999-2002 and became the General Manager of Perwira Education Group from 2003-2004 before he decided to explore worldwide. He chose Beijing as his first destination in advancing his career globally. He was offered at the Zhuozhan Days Hotel and Shangri-La Beijing Hotel as its English Training Specialist, responsible for enhancing the entire English standard of the staff and management. He then pursued with the Pre-opening team of The Westin Beijing, Financial Street and Manzhouli Holiday International Hotel. His latest involvement is with the pre-opening/post opening of The Legation Quarter Beijing as Training Manager.

He was actively involved in the school co-curriculum activities such as Trilingual Speech Contest (English, Malay & Mandarin), Chinese Impromptu Speech Contest where he emerged as the Champion, Student Forum Competition, Essay Writting Competition, and Public Speaking Contest where he was the 1st ever Asian student to have won the Top 3 Prizes in the Auckland Inter-High School Public Speaking Contest representing Lynfield College. He was awarded with the Lynfield College Oratory Award in 1996 and Principal's Congratulatory Letter by bringin Fame to his College. James was the 1st Asian student to be awrded with the Oratory Award since 1962.

James' passion lies more in language and literature where he was the regular guest speaker of the Malaysia National Language and Literature Ministry. From Seminars to Workshops and Forum, he was always in the speaker's list. With his blessed and gifted ability to communicate in multilingual such as English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Kadazan (and currently learning Korean), he hope to be able to guide and teach more people by encouraging them to be at least a bilingual speaker in this new age of era.
